Introduction
The NFC Tag feature in the Guard Mobile App allows guards to quickly and securely check in or verify their presence at specific post sites. By adding NFC tags, admins can ensure accurate site verification and eliminate manual entry errors, improving both accountability and operational efficiency.
prerequisites
You must be logged in as a Super Admin or Admin to add or manage NFC tags in the Guard Mobile App.
Ensure your device’s NFC feature is turned on before scanning.
step-by-step instructions
📱 Step 1: Open the Security Guard Mobile App and log in using your credentials.
📱 Step 2: Tap the More option from the bottom navigation bar to open additional settings.
📱 Step 3: Select NFC Tags from the menu.
📱 Step 4: Tap Add New at the bottom-right corner to create a new NFC tag.
📱 Step 5: Enter the Name (e.g., Main Gate, Lobby) and Description for the NFC tag.
📱 Step 6: Tap Connect next to “No Tag Connected.” When prompted, place your NFC tag near your device’s NFC reader.
📱 Step 7: Once the tag is successfully detected, tap Save to complete the process.
The new NFC tag will appear in the NFC Tags list.
additional tips or notes
If the message “No Tag Linked” appears, ensure the NFC tag is close enough to your device’s reader.
Check that your NFC tag isn’t already linked to another site.
If the NFC list doesn’t update, refresh the page or restart the app.
