Is NFC available on all devices?

NFC on iPhones (iPhone 8 and Above)

On iPhones, NFC tag scanning is available starting from the iPhone 8 and newer models. With iOS 11 and later, iPhones can scan NFC tags directly without needing any extra apps. This feature is built into the phone, so you can just bring your iPhone near an NFC tag to scan it.

NFC on Android Devices

For Android phones, not all devices support NFC. High-end or newer Android models generally have NFC, but older or budget devices may not. To check if your Android phone supports NFC, you can search online for your device model with the term "NFC" or check your phone’s settings.

If your Android device doesn’t have NFC built-in, you can use an external NFC reader that connects to your phone via Bluetooth or USB.
