How to create a team on Security Guard App?

The Security Team feature allows administrators to invite team members, assign roles, and manage access within their security company.

Access the Security Team Screen

1. Log in to the Security Guard Mobile App.
2. Open the side menu by tapping the menu icon in the top-left corner.
3. Select Security Team from the menu.

Invite a Team Member by Email

1. On the Security Team screen, tap the + (Plus) icon in the top-right corner.
2. Select the By Email tab.
3. Enter the team member's email address.
4. Choose the appropriate role:
   • Super Admin
   • Admin
   • Supervisor
   • Guard
   • Client
5. Tap Invite.

The invited user will receive an email invitation to join your security team. They can register or sign in using the same email address that received the invitation.

Invite a Team Member by Phone Number

1. Tap the + (Plus) icon.
2. Select the By Phone tab.
3. Enter the user's mobile phone number.
4. Select the desired role.
5. Tap Invite.

The user can accept the invitation by registering or signing in with the same phone number used in the invitation.

Invite a Team Member Using a Join Code

1. Tap the + (Plus) icon.
2. Select the By Join Code tab.
3. Generate or view your company's join code.
4. Share the code with the team member.
5. The user can enter the join code during registration or from the Security Team section to join the company.

Approve or Reject Team Requests

When a user requests to join your company:

1. Open Security Team.
2. Tap the Requests tab.
3. Review the pending request.
4. Tap:
   • Approve User to add the user to your team.
   • Reject User to deny the request.

Approved users will immediately appear in your team member list.

Manage Existing Team Members

The Team tab displays all users currently assigned to your company.

From this screen you can:

• View team member details.
• Review assigned roles.
• Access additional management options using the three-dot menu next to each user.
• Monitor active guards, supervisors, clients, and administrators within your organization.

Important Notes

• Users must register using the same email address or phone number that was used in the invitation.
• A user can belong to multiple security companies if invited by different organizations.
• Team invitations remain pending until accepted by the invited user.
• Only users with sufficient permissions (such as Super Admin or Admin) can invite and manage team members.

This feature makes it easy to build and manage your entire security workforce directly from the Security Guard Mobile App.

On the Security Guard Web App

1. Log in to the Security Guard Web App.
2. Click your profile menu in the top-right corner.

3. Select Settings.
    

   
   
   Click Security Team Members.
    

   

   The Team Members page displays all active team members and pending invitations for the selected post site.

Invite Team Members by Email

1. Click the + (Plus) icon in the top-right corner.
2. Select the By Email tab.
3. Enter the user's email address.
4. Select a role:
   • Admin
   • Supervisor
   • Guard
   • Client
5. Select one or more post sites to assign to the user.
6. Click Invite.

The invited user will receive an email invitation to download and register in the Security Guard App using the same email address.

Invite Team Members by Phone Number

1. Click the + (Plus) icon.
2. Select the By Phone tab.
3. Enter the user's mobile number.
4. Select the appropriate role.
5. Choose the post sites to assign.
6. Click Invite.

The user will receive an invitation and can register using the same phone number.

Invite Team Members Using a Join Code

1. Click the + (Plus) icon.
2. Select the By Join Code tab.
3. Generate or view the 6-digit join code.
4. Click Copy to Clipboard to share the code with the user.

The user can enter the join code in the Security Guard App to join your team.

Managing Multiple Post Sites

Teams are post site-specific. If you want to assign a team member to additional post sites:

1. Switch to the desired post site.
2. Open Settings > Security Team Members.
3. Invite or assign the user to that post site.

The same user can be assigned to multiple post sites within your company.
