Sometimes, you may need to update the address of your post site for better organization or to reflect new changes in your content structure. Whether you’re making a simple update or changing the URL of an existing post site, the process is easy to follow in the web app. This guide will walk you through the steps to successfully edit your post site address.
On Security Guard Mobile App
Login to Your Mobile App
Open the app and log in with your credentials.
Open the Navigation Menu
Tap the three-line menu icon (☰) located at the top-left corner of the screen to open the drawer menu.
Access the Settings Menu
Inside the Time Clock screen, tap on the “Settings” option.
View Post Sites
After tapping on Settings, select “Post Sites” to view a list of all your post sites.
Select the Post Site to Edit
From the list, find and tap on the Post Site you want to edit.
Edit the Post Site Address
Tap the pen icon (✏️) located to the right of the selected Post Site. This will open the edit screen.
Update the Address
Modify the address as needed, then tap the “Update” button to save your changes.
On Security Guard Web App
Login to Your Account
First, ensure you are logged into your account on the web app. After successfully logging in, you will be directed to your dashboard.
Go to the Post Sites Section
On the left-hand side of the dashboard, you will see a vertical navigation panel. From this panel, click on “Post Sites.”
Locate the Post Site You Want to Edit
In the Post Sites list, find the specific site whose address needs to be updated. Each Post Site will have options available on the right-hand side.
Next to the selected Post Site, click on the three-dot menu (⋮). This will open a dropdown menu with additional options.
Click on Edit
From the dropdown menu, click on the “Edit” option. This action will open the Update Site panel on the right side of the screen.
Modify the Address and Other Details
Inside the Update Site panel, you will be able to:
Edit the Post Site Name if required
Update the Address field by typing the correct location
Use the Location map feature to search or pinpoint the exact address
Assign or modify Members (Guards) for that Post Site if needed
Please update the address to reflect the correct site location.
Save the Updated Information
Once all necessary changes have been made, click on the Save button at the bottom of the panel. This will confirm and apply the updates to your Post Site.
Important Notes
Ensure that the address entered is accurate, as it directly affects GPS tracking and reporting features.
Only Admin or Super Admin users have permission to edit Post Sites.
