Activating GPS tracking for your security guard ensures that their location is monitored in real time. This feature is available on both the web and mobile applications, allowing you to easily manage and track your security personnel's whereabouts. By enabling GPS tracking, you can enhance security, improve response times, and ensure your guards are always where they need to be.
Follow these steps to activate GPS tracking for your security guard:
Steps to Activate GPS Tracking (Mobile App)
Log In to Your Mobile App Account
Open the app and log in with your username and password.
Open the Main Menu
Tap the three-line menu (☰) located at the top-left corner of the screen.
Go to Settings
In the drawer menu that opens, tap on Settings.
Open Company Settings
From the Settings options, select Company Settings.
Access GPS Tracking Settings
Inside the Company Settings, tap on GPS Tracking Settings.
Select Guards for GPS Tracking
- A list of your security guards will be displayed.
- Locate the guards you want to activate GPS tracking for.
- Mark the checkbox next to each guard’s name to enable tracking.
Save Your Changes
Tap Save in the top right corner to apply your settings.
⚠️ Important: If you do not click Save, the GPS tracking settings will not be updated.
Steps to Activate GPS Tracking (Web App)
Log in to Your Account
Start by logging into your account on the web app.
Once logged in, click your profile icon in the top-right corner to open the menu.
Go to Settings
From the dropdown menu, click Settings.
Select Company Settings
Inside the Settings page, click Company Settings.
Navigate to GPS Tracking Settings
Under Company Settings, select GPS Tracking Settings.
Enable GPS Tracking Visibility
Turn on the following options as needed:
- Allow clients to see history
- Allow supervisor to see history
These settings control who can access GPS tracking history in the system.
Save Your Changes
After enabling the required GPS tracking options, click Save in the top-right corner.
⚠️ Important: If you do not click Save, your GPS tracking settings will not be updated.
By following these steps, GPS tracking will be successfully configured in the latest version of the application. Always remember to save your changes after updating GPS tracking settings.
